Viking circular wood shield - Complete

Shield ready for battle.

Technical features & terms:

- 8-10mm thick wood. Covered with two layers of linen glued to the front, a layer behind.
- Pine wood handle. The thickness of the handle is decreasing towards the edges of the shield, in order to optimize the weight.

You can choose the shield boss:
- Type 1: Outer diameter 19.5cm, inner diameter (place for hand) 14.5cm. Thickness 2.5mm.
- Type 2: Outer diameter 19.5cm, inner diameter (place for hand) 14.5cm. Thickness 2.5mm.
- Type 3: Outer diameter 17cm, inner diameter (place for hand) 13.5cm Thickness 2.5mm.
*Please note that these products are hand-forged, slight variations can occurs.

- Rawhide 1-2mm thick, hand cutted, and hand-sewn with waxed linen thread on edges. The perfect historical choice.
- Weight: 3900g for a 85cm shield diameter, approx. (The weight depending of the selected shield boss)

Manufactured in France & shipped in Europe within 2-4 weeks! Extra waiting time is to expect for custom painting projects.

You can choose the diameter, from 50cm to 100cm diameter.
