Carolingian & Byzantines rich trousers
These long trousers, with a relatively straight and fitted cut, are typical of Carolingian aristocratic fashion, itself inspired by Byzantine fashion. Many iconographic representations attest to this.
Wool, and historic silk brocade, or plain weaved silk applications.
Certain Byzantine trousers, as represented in manuscripts such as the Menologist of Basil II, also allow us to suppose the existence of stamped decorations.
All visible stitches are hand-made.
Prices starts from 130 euros.
Straight trousers
These pants, with a relatively straight or fitted cut, were probably the most common type of pants throughout temperate Europe in the early Middle Ages. Simple, effective. They can be combined with male garters.
All visible stitches are hand-made as always!
Prices starts from 100 euros.
Garters
The garters are well known, and archaeologists, and historians. Yet they are still little used by re-enactors, wrongly!
Whether they are simple, or richly decorated, or even entirely made of silk brocade, garters are a real plus for a historical outfit.
Decorative, or practical, for work in the fields, they are fixed using laces, from the thigh to the belt. Additionals "garters belts" are known by archaeology, and iconography. These belts are wrapped around the calves.
All visible seams are handmade, as always! Our garters doesn't include the footpart.
Prices starts from 89 euros.
