Helmet description

An iconic helmet from medieval times, often called a "crossed helmet". Dating from the 12-13th century, this type of helmet foreshadows the future arrival of more protective “full” helmets. Present in numerous iconographic representations of the period.

Made of 2mm "st3" steel.
Everything is hand-forged by quality craftmens.
Produced on order, within 4 weeks only!

Shipping costs are calculated after the helmet is manufactured.
Indeed, the weight of a helmet varies greatly, depending on the model, the size, and whether or not a chainmail aventail is added.
*Our goal is to charge the customer the actual amount of postage, and not a penny more! It therefore seems more appropriate to us to proceed in this way, rather than to estimate shipping costs arbitrarily, with a margin of safety which would unfairly affect certain customers.

Customize your helmet!

Our helmets are fully customizable:

- You can choose the inner circumference of your helmet.
- You can choose three types of exterior finish: classic, "raw" or "blackened".

Let's choose your exterior finishing!

1. Classic / Polished.
2. Raw / "rustic" look.
3. Blackened.

How do we work?

Our team works with patience and thoroughness. We attach great importance to the quality of the finishes, both interior and exterior. All our helmets are suitable for combat (Eastern / Western / Huscarl style).
Our helmets are entirely custom made.

We manufacture ourselves chainmail, from the wire to the final riveting, and assembling. Find here a few pictures of our manufacturing process.
