By selecting the "wood handle" option, you chose a ebony wood handle.
This sword was made according to the size of the original artifact. The blade has two "grooves" like the original, from Nydam Mose bog.
The site of the bog was a sacred place, where weapons and ships of defeated armies were offered to the gods in thanks for victory over the fallen enemy. Many objects were deliberately destroyed (bent, broken or cut into pieces) during ritual sacrificial acts, from the period 200-400 AD.

You will appreciate the precision work of our blacksmith. The entire sword is forged in accordance with the proportions of the original artifact. Our swords are museum level replicas! Enjoy!
